In July of 2004 Jim and Troy created the non-profit organization, Hagood Hope For Children, to help children, not only in the Ukraine but around the world. The mission of Hagood Hope For Children is to help provide not only the basic necessities of life, food, clothing and shelter, but to expose children to the love of our Lord Jesus Christ and equip them to be caring, responsible members of their society. Since its inception, Hagood Hope for Children has donated over four hundred and seventy thousand dollars to orphanages and other Christian charities in Africa, Asia, Europe and the United States. Most of the funding for Hagood Hope comes from Jim and Troy's companies, Hagood Homes and Hagood Homes of Wilmington. Hagood Hope has also received donations from many others who have heard of its mission. The offices for Hagood Hope are contained within the office of Hagood Homes so over 95% of the funds received have been used for the aid of children. The directors of Hagood Hope For Children continue to look for ways to help children. This fall Hagood Hope will continue to sponsor the training for over 50 young men and women in Ukraine. The training will give them marketable skills and will help prevent these young adults from returning to the streets of Ukraine. Hagood Hope For Children, Inc. holds a tax exempt status under section 501 (c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code, which makes contributions to this organization tax deductible under section 170 of the Internal Revenue Code. If you are interested in the work of Hagood Hope For Children or would like more information, please feel free to contact Hagood Homes. Site Powerd by Signal
