We sold the very first Hagood Home in Catherine’s Cove in December 2018. We’re excited to announce that almost half the homes have been sold in our exclusive Wilmington new home community. So now that homeowners are going through the homebuilding process with us, or they are now residents settled in and experiencing the livability of their new home firsthand, we decided to check in and find out how they’re feeling about their Hagood homes!

“We moved here from Annapolis, Maryland, in June 2019. We were looking for an area that was a little less harsh than the winters we have up north. We love the beach but did not want to go as far as Florida. We visited Wilmington multiple times and just fell in love with the people and the area. Plus, it is more retirement-friendly than Maryland.

Catherine’s Cove is a great development. The neighbors are honestly the most welcoming and kind people. I will add that they are a fun group to hang out with.

I love my Hagood home because it is built with such quality and solidly built together. Jim just mentioned this morning about how the electrician was very meticulous in his work. He noticed the screws were all positioned in the same direction. I also love that my double sliding doors offer extra inside/outside living space. In addition, great insulation results in lower electric bills.

Our experience with Hagood Homes has been amazing. We have dealt with builders back in Maryland and, at times, it has been a real nightmare. Hagood Homes is by far the best builder that we have ever had the pleasure of dealing with. They are very easy to work with and truly care about the product they produce. They are family!”
